At the moment I'm reading "Into Africa" which is a dramatic retelling of the Stanley-Livingstone story. I've never been interested in that story or watched the movie and hardly pick up a novel but sitting here in the heart of where this story takes place has been facinating and a history lesson too. It recounts of Livingstone, and all of the worlds, obsession with finding the source of the Nile and what they were willing to endure to find it. Not much said so far of his missionary exploits but just of his deep belief in God and of his hand in abolishing the slave trade.
