Here are a few photo's from this last week. We're in full holiday mode so doing a lot of swimming and barbies (as in bbq's) what we Aussie do best! There are a few from our NY day get together at the Willows. Check out that picturesque place.
Then there's Haydns daily early morning bath...we usually go back to bed after getting all cleaned up at usually 6:30 a.m.There's a few from our daily walks to feed the horses. Shane's been going next door to play volley ball with all the guys around too. That goes from about 5 - 8 pm, so yeah, late dinners and loooong lazy afternoons. Don't you just love summer?!
Then last night Jo and Sharif invited a bunch of us over to there place to celebrate Andy's 25th. It was all good fun and great to hang out with everyone! You wouldn't believe how many kids and babies we have between us...easily 20! And it was pouring so they were all inside buzzing around...very brave of them to invite us all! There's one shot of the kids around a movie.
And today we went up to Kenthurst for our family lunch. Perfect day and wonderful to spend it with family.
Baby Haydn is doing really well too. He loves his bottles and formula which are a lifesaver when we're in the car on our way somewhere or I've just had a rough night. I was expressing for him but that was waaay too labor intensive, formula you just pop in and ready to go at a moments notice. I reckon it tastes just the same anyway.
We're still working on the dummy. He just likes to suck so I'm hoping it'll meet his needs otherwise I feel like I'M his dummy.
I'm feeling really well too. I put it down to staying really active in my pregnancy and eating healthy. I couldn't control my weightgain but at least I know I did what I could and I'm healthy and my babies are healthy. That's what matters. (But yeah, pray for the weight loss.)
Such nice pics Jo! You have a very handsome little man there - and I love his name. I know what you mean about the formula as well; its been so stress free traveling with bubby. Of course I try and nurse when we are out, and we usually do, heh, even in public, but the bottle is great for the car and keeping him well fed when its too hectic an outing for serious feeding. I'm praying for you and your guys. Love you heaps, 'chelle XXX
ReplyDeletePS. Am ever so slightly jealous of your baby sling - it's all the rage and I have been lusting for one! Rock it.
