Not the perfect housewife

I popped over to Ruth's blog to pick up a great play dough recipe and caught this funny quote across the top.

ha ha!! the latter describes me. Shane is the expert chef in our family but he's not around as much these days with work so if I feel the urge for a pear crumble or pancakes ... I'm on my own (well, Lynn is back up...hee) Today I tried a carrot cake to bring to an area fellowship tomorrow and it smells great though not as fluffy as I would have hoped but it's fun trying new things...when I get it right. I've overcooked rice twice recently......rice, c'mon, and in a rice cooker!
I blame all those years in CC =)
