Horse riding

The day started with a stiff, strong coffee at Munyonyo Lake Resort then the last day of vacation was spent on an hour-long horse ride around the surrounding villages of Lake Victoria. It was really lovely though the entire time I thought I was possibly pissing off my horse by pulling the reins too tight, or perhaps not sitting centered enough, any minute he'd turn around and nip me. (He didn't) But I'd wished we'd had a short instructional beforehand. We'd convinced the stable manager that we'd all had plenty of experience riding horses otherwise they wouldn't have let us leave the property...and I wasn't interested in going around in circles in a paddock for an hour. So my first time ever riding a horse!
