Autumn heralded

The colours of the trees announce that Autumn is well and truly here! This line of trees is on my daily walk to school. Below are the same trees on the same day in the morning ...it really was that cold and so foggy but cleared to a warm day in the 20's.
Last night we broke in Dad's pumpkin soup dishes with my warm and creamy pumpkin soup....my absolute favorite!

Shanti turned 20 and had nothing to do and nowhere to go so we invited her and a few others over for some beer, corn chips and salsa. I baked a cake and we watched MTV's and just hung out. Good fun!
