Catching up....

Last Sunday Malaika and I led the monthly Sunday fellowship. About 30 Active members and 12 FS students showed up. We played some praise-time games, did a word quiz, inspiration and communion. It was a real nice time and went off well. Ahhh, this is what it's all for!

This weekend I was busy on the clown party team. Work was easy and they always invite you to join in when you're done working. Being the face painter I don't feel as uncomfortable as the clown in the get-up. We are some of the only entertainment in town (and the highest quality too, and we charge top dollar) so we get parties mainly from the wealthy. Man, you should see some of these houses though. The last one was like a resort! It's hard to believe unless you see it. The contrast between the that and the rest of the country is something.

Congolese Gold.

Shane's in Nairobi as of Saturday. He chaparoned a JT to his camp and will help out where needed, videoing, inspiration etc.... In the meantime I'm enjoying the bed (and computer) to myself! Sorry Honey...I miss you too. My boys are trying to take over my bed too since daddy's gone but no, no...it's too hard to get them back in their own beds when he gets back.

If you get a moment pray for your family in Africa. Crime is on the rise. On Saturday someones laptop, camera and phone was stolen from our locked vehicle. It was a safe area near home where we go alot and the jeep was just outta sight blocked by a hedge. It's abit of a wake up call. Uganda is quite a safe and peaceful country, it's easy to relax and get complacent.
A home in West Africa has just had an armed robbery. I don't know any details but PRAY!

On a lighter note. Last night Machi and Nawaz took a few of us for dinner.
Just lovely! Thanks you two. Always a pleasure!
