Street scene

A very typical street scene, notice there is no right and left differentiations…..

Not only are there pedestrians to look out for but matatu’s (taxi vans) and Boda boda’s and just the regular car dodging a pothole. Crossing the road is scary business!

And then there’s Alan’s eternal question…”Why are they’re no sidewalks in Africa??” Ummmmm?

I met a woman hitch hiking the other day who had just returned from Rwanda and she said there was not a
single pothole in the roads there or plastic
bag littering the streets!
At the border they check for plastic bags and make you get rid of it! Wow….hard to believe!?
