I am gradually dropping feeds. We didn't have set ones anymore but still had a rough estimate of when and why he fed. i.e for comfort or sleep.Firstly I stopped nursing him to sleep and rather rocked or patted him, now I dropped the mid day/nap time nurse. Then I dropped the first night feed. Next and last, the hardest I'm sure, is the middle of the night, half asleep feed.
