Halloween

Alan attended a school Halloween party and just had to have a skeleton costume for the event. Normally I don't bother celebrating this event as it's very American and I was surprised to see a lot of parties on our walk home from getting him after the party.
It was a perfect summer evening, balmy and still plenty of daylight and some folks sitting on their front lawn looked at us warily as we past and I assured them we weren't trick or treat-ing. That's when they invited them to take a handful of lollies each that they'd prepared just for this occasion.
And each Friday night we traditionally pull out the snacks and drinks and watch something to unwind for the weekend and this week was no different complete with ice-cream floats!

When Haydn goes quiet, I go looking and look where we found him! He loves the fish and likes to feed them. He must have dragged the chair over to then climb on it! Oh, and today he let go of the bed and walked out the door! He's not quite 11 months.

  4. He's so cheeky!! Watch out for this one! :) I'm surprised at the Halloween stuff, I was just telling a store clerk that we didn't grow up with Halloween in Australia, and now I see it's gone over there too. It's fun to dress up!
