My big boy attained an Excellence Award today from the school principle and his name appeared in the school weekly chronicle for it. I'm a proud Mommy!
The weather has been abit to rough to walk him to school and Haydn and I are missing our early morning walks so on the way home from school the other day we stopped at the park and while the boys were playing and baby was crawling around the oval I got down to some exercises including push ups and sit ups etc on the grass. Later on the same day I've broken out into Hives. Laying on the grass is the only thing I can link it to. It's driving me mad. On the bright side I've recovered from my longstanding flu and cough and finally had the energy to attack the house and give Jay and Hadyn the attention they need.
My lovely friend Ruthhad a birthday. We had big plans for a night out on the town but when it came down to it we couldn't drag ourselves out on such freezing nights plus Ruth studies, works and is a mother of 3 children! We ended up popping in with a bottle of wine and a chat. Ruth, I wish for you a wonderful year, good health, happiness and success for you and yours!
Amber also had a birthday and we celebrated in style. Shane made picture perfect sushi and miso soup. Mum won a perfect Black Forrest cake from the Cheesecake shop too and we had a great night.
My baby sister, Serena is coming back to Australia! Yay! It's only been six months but I've missed her terribly. And two of my older sisters are visiting in Feb. from the States and Mexico. That means ALL us sisters will be together for the first time since we were kids! Now if only my 2 other brothers could come it would be a first ever family reunion! We are planning and we are saving for the best summer ever!
