So far so good

School holidays have been going well. Mostly the part that lets me take my time in the mornings and not have to venture outside to walk Alan to school. We had a winter snap and it has been down to 10 degrees in the mornings. Shane actually had frost on the car brrrr.

I took the boys to participate in some organized school holiday activities at the mall last week and to one of those indoor play areas with jumping castles and soft building blocks. Haydn especially love the slide into the ball pit and is getting around crawling now.

Today was so warm that we decided on a hike in a nearby forest and it was magnificent! Lots of pictures were taken but I have yet to upload them.

On the weekend Timmy Miller and Suzie dropped in with the new bubs. We had some tea and toast and caught up. We also celebrated Marty's birthday. Ruth put out a spread of delectable dishes, my favorite being the cashew chicken. We sang, dance and drank wine and the rest is a bit of a blur.

And I'd just like to add "God is good!" Recently, it's been decision making time again and we've been tossed. There is no "easy" road sometimes and we've stressed more than we probably should about things. What next? Where to?
It's relaxing to tell yourself that God is in control but every now and then He reassures us that He ACTUALLY is!
