Preschool activities and more on Haydn

Preschool activities this last week included a seasons of the year tree (Which Jay made me do most of the colouring) and a egg carton catapillar. We usually get in a story and Bible memory and review, a project and a page or 2 from his k4 Beka book ABC123. Haydn has a few baby quotes, action songs and some sort of manipulatives (of which he finds very tasty...everything straight to the mouth.) It's hard to ignore the laundry or breakfast dishes for a little longer but we all end up happier when I take this time everyday.

And it looks as if I'm going to lose a 10 dollar bet with Shane. Haydn is nearly 6 months and his eyes are still brown. Hmmm...you see I thought Alan and Jay's were gonna be brown too for a while in the beginning too but they are both brilliant blue now. We still have time but it's hard to know if they'll still change or not. Nevertheless aren't they beautiful!

He does a full sit up if you hold his legs. From the time he first wakes he's tries to sit up like this. I'm gearing up for baby-proofing the house. This one is gonna be a mover....then again aren't they all?
