They are second hand but originally from Ikea. I like the chocolate brown. I made a mistake with the buy it now price (which was too good to be true) but we still got a great deal on it since the guy had misrepresented it.

We'd been looking into drumming lessons for awhile and were thinking of getting a kit for Alan's birthday. Whatever the case learning any musical instrument is a good investment and being that Shane is a talented musician, the boys might just be naturals. We shall see.
How lovely! You've really turned a house into a home Jo.
ReplyDeleteKeyboards are a lot more tolerable than drum kits ;-)
oh so so nice...thats kinda how i dreamed it would and could have looked if I had tried a little harder :( you really have the nack for it Jo and I really REALLY don't...well i think at the beginning i sometimes had it looking good but then we would move things around and it just got worser
ReplyDeleteoh nice. We're still deciding and just getting the kids into the next school year that we need to decide. Alex wants to play guitar. And I saw a $50 keyboard on craigslist, that if we were ready I would get in a flash. also we went to a museum of making music, they have a room where kids can try instruments, and (before we left the house) I asked eric what he most wanted to see and try and he said drums. And there was this great electric drum kit (with headphones) that he had a ball with. If you get drums, get electric ones so you can get headphones too!! :)
