I decided to tuck one of those little notes in Alan's lunch box the other day. Just a simple "I love you and have a good day. Love, Mom" type that is suppose to conjure up warm, fuzzy feelings and give him a bit of reading practice.
Uh hmmmm, when he got home he asked me what I did that for and that made him embarrassed. Turns out he was too lazy so got help from one of his friends to read it and that "by the way" they said I spelt mom wrong (ha!) It was all a laugh though when I told him I just wanted to remind him that I love him....ha ha ha, but don't do it again, he says.
