fishing

I put Jay in charge of entertaining Haydn while I vacuumed and came back to this! Completely surrounded by every toy he owns...Ha! He's very in tune with his baby brother and concerned every time he cries coming over to talk soothingly to him.

Daddy and Alan have been fishing at the little pond on our property but only having bread as bait accidentally caught a duck who had dived for the bread. (I talked them out of having it for dinner knowing it could recover from it's wounds.) They did end up catching a large carp and threw it back afterwards. Look at that tranquil setting. Beautiful! The weather has been crazy hot and humid but last night after a huge storm it's cooled to about 24 degrees. Much more bearable but we do need the sun to enjoy our beach holiday being planned for next week.
