It's tough getting here these days mainly for lack of two hands to type with or by 10pm after the kids are fed, showered and put to bed, laundry's dealt with and Haydn finally settles, it's so much easier on the brain to veg with whatever is on TV or a good flick .
I'm also in the process of studying for my learners license (finally!) enough procrastinating. To be honest I'm terrified of driving but I am urgent for the freedom. So I'm trying to do the online practice test every night starting tonight till I cover all 600 questions (which are chosen randomly each time). I passed tonight anyway!
Haydn is growing more handsome by the day and is doing really well. He's taken to bottles nicely so I was able to pop over to Mum and Dad's neighbor who has a salon at the back of her house to get my hair highlighted. Yay! I'm over trying to do it myself...costs more in the long run usually anyway trying to fix the mistakes.
I've been keeping my boys busy with various school holiday activities going on around. Today we went to Bunnings Warehouse for kids DIY activities and tomorrow we'll meet up with Marissa and Lulu for the activities and show at our local mall. Next week I'm trying to organize a trip downtown to Circular Quay and a ferry over to Manly Beach. I do hope the sun will poke out before summers over!
Our house is once again being used as a venue. This time for Steve and Terri's wedding. We've had Kim and an entourage of workers transforming the yard for the occasion. Tomorrow we'll get the cob webs, dusting and windows done. It's great to get an annual deep clean!
We're expecting about 80 people so pray for the weather to clear so we can utilize the outdoor area. Should have lots of photo's in a bit of all the action.
Oh, yesterday when watching the kids over at Amos and Faiths, Jay comes to me and most excitedly says "Mom, come and see the dead mouse in the garage!" Me: "uh, no thanks" then I carried on with my conversation with Anne only for him to emerge from the garage holding the trap........ with the dead mouse still attached for me to inspect! Argh!
In the car the other day out of the blue he looks over to me wide eyed and says, "Mom, God is very big.....because he's got the whole world in his hands."
Alan was trying to communicate to our cat telepathically after hearing the song "Amazing Cat" thinking now that all cats can read our minds. Ha! Good grief, the questions I get from these guys sometimes and they can't understand why I don't know everything!

Oh I do hope you get your liscense. It's so annoying to have to get a driver to take you out> I hardly go out right now, But I'm glad that I can if I really want to! Ha!
