Alan's Pirate Party

So we did it! We pulled it off! Well, with a lot of help. It made it a lot easier to combine with Anastasia's party. Lots of snacks, kids and party games including a pinata!

Anaik bought the fabulous outfit for Alan as one of his birthday presents and to ensure he was the best dressed pirate of them all....more of an admiral, if you ask me...ssshhhh.

Jay was gorgeous and didn't make a peep the whole time. He was way too busy at the lolly platter with his mouth full along side all the other kids.

The cake even turned out great! I had my doubts....not in Shane but in his idea, but he did it again and with style!

Thank you everyone that came and brought gifts. I think he really enjoyed his party and was up first thing this morning playing with all his new stuff.

We only go big every other year but it was nice and rather stress free. That's the beauty of inviting close friends and family, there's no one to impress, you just have fun at it. And like David K. pointed out. It was a great cover for an adult fellowship. ha, I thot that was funny.

I'm at Serena and Zeths place babysitting Leona right now. It's their 2 wedding anniversary today so they went out for a lunch and some personal time.
