Wedding bells

It’s been a quiet week end we’re all sort of revving up for Michelle and Stephs big wedding next weekend. It should be fun. A lot of old friends are flying in from Taiwan, Melbourne and Queensland including Kerenina Fischer. I’m most looking forward to seeing her. Shane and I (mainly Shane) will be doing videoing and photography so I’ll be after heaps of shots of everyone. Seems the whole area is swinging into action for it and pulling together to get the flowers, tailor made dresses, wedding cake and Mums working in the food department (of course) Guests are pushing 100 and it’s all happening on Lynn Buckley’s picturesque property (conveniently for us, next door). Serena and I are tossing outfits back and forth so not sure what we’re wearing yet but a lovely excuse to buy a pair of pumps.

Last night I walked over and hung out with Ginny (Buckley) and a whole gang of others. Renee cooked up a curry and we had that and a Merlot by candle light. Twas a nice evening but being my first glass in a few months I awoke with a blinding headache which I’m still trying to shake.

Jay Jay, my 3 year old and I have been having some interesting conversations about the coming baby, like the fact that he’ll have to start sleeping in his own bed to make room for it, he insists baby needs to sleep in its' own little bed. ME: “but what if the baby is hungry and wants some milk from Mommy?” JAY: “It can just have a bottle because you don’t have any more milk, I drank it all!”

He loves playing I Spy as well and somehow always turns praise-time into an I Spy game. “ I ‘pie wi’ my little eye some’fing that is…..” and on he goes.

Okay, we’re off to Mum and Dads for pizza. Gary and Anne flew in this morning for a few days on some cheap tickets so we’re all getting together there. If I'm lucky we'll get some pictures up tomorrow.
