The Lord loves us!

Woah, I've been getting slack with blogging... I really just don't want to bore you with the routine of school, naps and .....and not much else.

Well, I'm lying, actually I have to say the Lord has been really coming through for us and it's cool to sit back and see Him work out all the kinks. Last week He supplied a rice cooker, microwave and lots of odd and ends you never think of till you're standing in your new kitchen and realize you don't have a can opener...it happens.
We haven't got our own place yet as we're waiting on a few things to come through but in the meantime we're collecting everything we'll need to be able to move right in in about a months time.
In the meantime Amos and Faith have been such gems to put us up for so long on their beautiful property. Our room is like a small apartment where we can pretty much completely function without impeding drastically on their home life. I hardly see Alan on the weekends he's running all over the property with his friends fishing and playing games in the bush. It's great!

Another wonderful thing is that Shane was able to get a job for a friend of the family that pays quite well. It's hard work doing landscaping and various handyman type work, he comes home exhausted but we're just thanking the Lord for supplying so we can reach our goals of getting back to Africa!

Yesterday (Sunday) we had a lovely day at Rouse Hill National park with Marty and Ruth; Dan and Heidi; Joanne and Sharif and Mike May and 14 kids between us all! No pix as we had lent our camera. Twas fun to catch up and hope to do it again! Everyones looking forward to Anaik and Mike coming too to add to the fun!

Okay, love you and see you when I see you! I'm getting eaten alive by mozzies sitting out at the duck pond. (in case you missed that post, we can pick up the broadband internet from the house next door. Only draw back we have to sit at the pond.....it's winter and getting cold too!)
