Is what we’d call it Down Unda…

The Daniels are having one and are all in Cape Town for a few days. Alan & Jay got to meet their Grandma/ Oma/ Granny (…she doesn’t like any of the names being not yet 50) for the first time! That’s been really nice. She came down from Northern Germany, Ben (Shane's brother) and Celly from Uganda, Kev and Jemina (his sister) are down from Joburg.

We hired a car (a real rattler) so we could drive around with them and went on a beautiful drive down the coast to Boulders Beach to see the penguins and on to the Waterfront for lunch and a bit of wandering.

Today we took Mom out to a wine farm where they also kept some tame cheetahs. We would’ve let Alan pet it but Jay kick up some stones and riled it up a bit. Anyway, was magnifico to watch.

I think tomorrow altogether we’ll do some wine farms (and serious tasting); they are abundant in these parts.
