Desperate times call for desperate measures!

It got really chilly on the week end and seemed to be the end of the glorious summer days. I was wrapped up in every piece of warm clothing I owned and a scarf…..I don’t know if I’ll survive the winter if I couldn’t handle that! Anyway, it was just a scare we went back up to a scorching 36 degrees today. But it got me thinking about those winter clothes I’m going to have to invest in. It’ll be strange going back to seasons. Uganda was pretty much the same all year around.

Look at me on and on about the weather, the truth of the matter is we are down on our prayer bones about this missionary visa thing. Yet more hoops to jump through and we’ve sawed off the limp coming straight here rather than to Oz for fund-raising first.

A new thing is Home Affairs requires a lot of insurance type money put down to be returned on departure of the country (but its Africa…. so we’d probably not see the money again, or the law would change and it would be absorbed before we can reclaim it) whatever the case we don’t have that kind of money and if we did I wouldn’t want to turn it over!

We have a few more options we’re going to try. Please pray and call on the key of miracles for us. We’re quite certain the Lord wants us here and has led us this far

“But if not”…..we’ll keep on trusting Him!
