Christmas morning.....Finally

We celebrated on the 27 th because of engagements over the last few days. We started the day with a united reading and carol singing including dramatizing from the script of Child of love....it was sorta interesting doing it with Simon whose voice is so familiar to us from growing up esp. from that particular drama...ha!
finally we got to the presents....I couldn't really splash out for the kids because of our move coming up but at least got them a couple toys and Alan got an art book as he's into drawing....and lots of chocolate bars from all the kids....I had to hide them before they got sick. I'll ration them out over the holidays.
I got an eleborate bath/cream set and dangly earings from Malaika, a toe ring from Celly, and from Shane, a watch I so desperately needed....we did the Angel/mortal thing in our home too.
It truly was a memorable day!

And one of our supporter homes sent a special gift to be able to have a nice Christmas dinner! We all put in our "orders" and unitedly made a menu of what everyone wanted to eat so we ended up with quite a variety. We had roast chicken, mini steaks, sushi, hams and cheeses on french rolls, Greek salad and croutons, mini pizza's....we didn't even get through half or to the desserts!! We'll be eating leftovers today.....
