I don't learn...!

What was I thinking?? A question we ask ourselves sometimes years later after doing something daring, risky or just plain stupid.... but I went and did it tonight.

I attempted to get a manicure with my two sons with me. Shane's still in Nairobi so it was just the boys and I this Family Day.
It's normal to see children hanging around while mothers are getting there hair done etc. My kids are easy, don't get me wrong, but somehow it slipped my mind of the kind of things that come up directly in the middle of your soak.

Jay-Jay (2years) says "Mommy, doo-doo" Ahhhh, the only thing nearby is the drop toilet out back.
Fine but shortly after it's the greasy hands that need washing from the chicken I bought on the way to keep them busy... then to top it off pushing the stoller home without damaging the nail job. The Sun had already set, peak hour traffic....and Africa don't have sidewalks! Well we made it and I've learnt my lesson but when will I really learn?
