Today, one year ago was the day I saw a life come into the world! Happy Birthday Leona! I wish I was there to see you grow up....
What an experience! Mum and I, Zeth and Serena went to the hospital the night of the 14th but were told she wasn't that far along yet so after hanging around for a bit and trying to get Serena comfortable....impossible but yeah, we tried to prepare her for a long wait without being discouraging.
Anyway, Mum and I went home for abit of sleep, woke up early (quite rested) for some coffee then decided we'd better find out what was happening at the hospital....oh, baby being born, that's right! (I just felt so cheesy not being in her place..hee) I don't think Zeth was answering his phone so we decided to high tail it over there. Sure enough we walked right into the crowning of baby Leona! I'm so glad we didn't stop for fuel and made it in time for the best bit! And I admire all you boys out there who stand by your women during those time.
And it looks as if Leona is bringing you plenty of joy. What a muffin!
