Well sooo much has been happening and I've got heaps of new photo's....all in good time though.
Shane left for the last of the 3 roadtrips this morning to Gulu. It's also North of Uganda and has many IDP (internally displaced persons) camps which they'll be visiting. Along with a local hospital visitation and they will hold daily morning 12 FS classes. I may bus up on Thursday to help out for 3 days of demostrating how to teach the STEPS program to schools and orphanges that have bought them. That will leave Alan and Jay in the capable hands of Kathleen (JJ's teacher) while both of us were away.
Last night was abit of drama... I woke at 12:30 to a thud and Alan was face down of the floor having just fallen off his bunk which is about a 5 foot drop on hard tiles! I panicked and it was pitch black (we have power cuts every night from 12:00-5:30 am) so we were trying to tell if he was hurt or not because he was wimpering but wouldn't wake up.....so we prayed for him and put him back to bed. Again at 3 he woke up and that's when by moonlight I could see his face covered in blood! It looked really frightening but there wasn't much I could do but wash it and put him back in bed.... Thankfully by this morning I was able to have a good look and half his face is just swollen, mainly his lip and his nose had bled from the fall. (the floor was covered in it to add to the drama) He seems quite fine too. PTL! He's just taking it easy today and I went out and bought a kids rug to put at their bedside already.
